The Workshop Sheet 22 of 22
Describe a set you remember in your own words, add the theme and decade if you know them, and pick it from the pictures. It is free and needs no account.
We chose 35 sets at random from the catalog’s sets of 60 to 3,000 pieces released 1980 to 2025, leaving out gear, books and Duplo, described each from its picture without reading its name, then searched all 20,280 sets for it. Measured November 03, 2026. Many of the sets were recognisable from their pictures, so their descriptions use words from the set’s name; a vaguer memory will rank lower. With this few sets, take the counts as a rough guide.

|---|---|---|---|
| Description only | 7 of 35 | 14 of 35 | 23 of 35 |

It reads each set’s name, its theme and the names of the figures it came with, so a set named for a place or a story, with no figures, is found only through the theme and decade. It does not look at photos. If you have the pieces, What Set Is This From? works from them instead. The tool itself saves nothing, but your description travels in the page’s address, which the site’s analytics note as they do for any page.
