LEGO Build Matcher

List the sets you own and see which other sets their pieces can build, ranked by how much you already have, with the parts still missing. It is free and needs no account.

How the matcher ranks sets

  1. It pools your pieces. Every part and color across the sets you list, including sets packed inside a bundle. Spare pieces stay out.
  2. It compares them with each set. A set counts only as many of a piece as it needs, so having extras never lifts its score.
  3. It ranks by share of pieces. The best matches are the sets you could build most fully from what you own, and each one lists what you are still missing.

The matches come from retail sets of 100 pieces or more, released from 2000 on. Minifigures are not counted. Colors must match exactly for the main score, and each match also shows its score if colors can differ.

What to expect

A few small sets rarely cover a whole new set, because every set has pieces few others use. More sets, and sets from the same theme, usually score higher. Once you have chosen a build, the Missing Piece Checker lists every piece in it, and the Sorting Planner helps you find what you own.
