📝 Our Take

Jay's Storm Fighter is a worthy addition to any Ninjago collection. This set captures the essence of the Ninjago theme with its sleek design, vibrant colors, and action-packed features, making it a standout model from the Legacy series.

This set is perfect for Ninjago fans of all ages. The build is engaging without being overly complex, making it a great project for families to complete together, and the inclusion of legacy minifigures adds a nostalgic touch for longtime fans.

Skip this if you're seeking a more intricate or challenging build. While enjoyable, this set doesn't offer the complexity of larger Ninjago models; consider the Ninjago City sets for a more advanced building experience.

Investment Grade

Retired

Jay's Storm Fighter (70668-1) presents a moderately attractive investment opportunity, primarily driven by the Ninjago theme's enduring popularity and the set's retirement status. The inclusion of legacy minifigures, which appeal to collectors seeking complete character sets, further enhances its potential. However, the relatively low piece count compared to its original MSRP suggests that significant appreciation may take time. While not a guaranteed high-return investment, the rising price trend indicates growing demand, making it a worthwhile consideration for patient investors. Keep in mind that fluctuations in the LEGO market and the availability of similar sets could impact its long-term value.
