Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

The Boulder Blaster (71736) presents a moderate investment opportunity. As a retired Ninjago set, it benefits from the theme's enduring popularity and the nostalgia factor associated with revisiting a classic vehicle. The rising price trend suggests increasing demand, but the relatively high current price compared to its original MSRP indicates that much of its potential appreciation may have already occurred. Investors should monitor its price fluctuations and consider that the set's appeal is primarily limited to Ninjago fans, which could cap its long-term growth.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

The Boulder Blaster offers a unique blend of playability and display appeal within the Ninjago theme. Compared to larger Ninjago sets like the Ninjago City Gardens (71741) which focus on intricate building and display, the Boulder Blaster prioritizes action and swooshability. While sets like Jay's Storm Fighter (71703) offer a similar price point, the Boulder Blaster includes more minifigures and a more substantial build.
