Kai's Mech Jet is a fun, versatile 2-in-1 set. This Ninjago set offers two distinct building experiences, allowing kids to create either a mech or a jet, providing extended play value and creative options.

This set is perfect for young Ninjago enthusiasts and beginner LEGO builders. With a manageable piece count and clear instructions, it's an accessible and engaging build that encourages imaginative play and storytelling.

C+

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

Kai's Mech Jet presents a moderate investment opportunity. As a retired Ninjago set, it benefits from the theme's enduring popularity. However, the relatively low piece count and initial MSRP may limit substantial appreciation. The rising price trend suggests some collector interest, but its long-term value will depend on maintaining demand within the Ninjago fan base. Compared to larger, more exclusive Ninjago sets, its investment potential is less pronounced, making it a more speculative hold.

Kai's Mech Jet is a smaller, more affordable entry point into the Ninjago mech line compared to sets like the Fire Stone Mech (71720). While it lacks the complexity and size of larger sets, its 2-in-1 design offers more immediate play options than some single-model sets. It's a good choice for younger builders or those seeking a quick and engaging build without a significant investment.
