📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Storm Fighter Battle is a fantastic entry point for younger builders stepping up to the world of LEGO Ninjago. Celebrating the early seasons of Masters of Spinjitzu as part of the Legacy line, this 2020 set brings classic vehicles and a neat temple setup right into the hands of kids and nostalgic fans alike.

This set is perfect for younger ninja fans and parents introducing children to brick-building. Designed with a 4+ focus featuring Starter Brick bases, the build is straightforward, quick, and engineered for immediate play value rather than complex display techniques.

Skip this if you are an adult collector seeking intricate building techniques or advanced parts. Because it is geared toward younger builders, the piece count is low, and the models lack the complexity found in standard sets.

⏳ Retired

As a retired 4+ Ninjago Legacy set from 2020, Storm Fighter Battle occupies a niche space in the secondary market. While 4+ sets typically do not command the same intense collector fervor as major adult-targeted themes, the Ninjago branding carries a fiercely loyal fanbase. With a modest piece count of 166 and a current price hovering just slightly above its original MSRP, it offers steady, predictable movement rather than explosive growth. For investors, the primary draw lies in its sealed-box appeal for parents seeking nostalgic 4+ sets or complete Ninjago character runs. However, because it contains Junior-style specialized large elements rather than a dense inventory of versatile parts, part-out value is relatively low. It is a decent low-risk pickup if found near original retail, but don't expect it to fund a retirement portfolio.

Compared to standard LEGO Ninjago sets which target older age groups with intricate builds, this 4+ set prioritizes sturdiness and quick assembly using large starter pieces. If you want a more substantial building challenge, look toward standard 6+ or 9+ Ninjago mechs and vehicles.

3 Minifigures Included

The set includes three legacy minifigures—Kai, Jay, and the villain Lasha—providing a great ready-made heroic clash right out of the box.
