📝 Our Take

The Turbo Command Featuring CD-ROM Experience Expander is a fascinating glimpse into late 90s LEGO Technic. This set combines the classic Technic building experience with then-cutting-edge interactive CD-ROM technology, offering a unique blend of physical and digital play. It's a quirky and memorable set that stands out in the Technic lineup.

This set is perfect for Technic enthusiasts and LEGO collectors interested in the history of LEGO's foray into digital interaction. The build offers a satisfying Technic experience, and the inclusion of the CD-ROM adds a layer of nostalgia and experimentation. It's a great display piece for those who appreciate the evolution of LEGO.

Skip this if you're primarily looking for modern, complex Technic sets with advanced functionality. While innovative for its time, the CD-ROM aspect may not appeal to everyone, and the building techniques are relatively simple compared to contemporary sets. Consider modern sets like the LEGO Technic McLaren Formula 1 Race Car 42141 for a more advanced experience.
