LEGO Technic YouTubers highly praise the 8455 Backhoe Loader, emphasizing its intricate pneumatic system and overall complexity. Reviewers appreciate its playability and the presence of a B model, which is a front loader with a telescopic boom.
Desert Eagle LEGO® Technic Creations highlights the model's two large pneumatic pumps, seven switches, and ten cylinders. The building process is noted as challenging due to the extensive network of pneumatic hoses, but the final result is generally well-received.
