⏳ Retired

As a retired set with a low original MSRP of $6.99, the Arctic Ice Glider sits in an interesting spot for secondary market collectors. Because it features a unique explorer minifigure and several useful orange and dark blue elements, sealed copies often attract attention from completionists trying to round out their 2018 Arctic subtheme collections. However, because it was a small impulse-purchase set produced in high quantities, explosive growth is unlikely. Price history is currently volatile or sparse, meaning potential buyers and sellers should watch individual platform listings closely. It carries standard retirement risks for small polybag-style sets, where shipping costs often outweigh the actual item value, making local sales or bundled lots a better strategy.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Arctic Exploration Team

Compared to larger sets in the 2018 Arctic lineup like the Mobile Exploration Base, the Ice Glider offers a tiny slice of the action at a fraction of the cost. It serves as a great entry point similar to other historical impulse sets, though dedicated collectors usually prefer pairing it with slightly larger transport vehicles from the same year.
