Water Plane Chase is a fun little set that captures the classic LEGO City spirit. It's a great introduction to the world of LEGO police chases, featuring a vibrant seaplane and a small getaway boat for the crook.

This set is perfect for younger LEGO fans and those new to the building hobby. The build is straightforward and satisfying, with some nice play features like the net shooter and the hidden compartment.

Skip this if you're looking for a complex or challenging build. Consider larger LEGO City police sets for a more involved experience, such as the Mobile Police Unit or the Police Station.

⏳ Retired

Water Plane Chase, while a retired set, doesn't command a high premium due to its relatively small size and lack of exclusive minifigures. Its value lies more in its appeal to LEGO City collectors completing their police subtheme. While it may see modest appreciation over time, don't expect significant returns. The theme is popular, but this particular set isn't rare enough to be a standout investment. The low piece count and common minifigures limit its potential.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Compared to other LEGO City police sets, Water Plane Chase is on the smaller side. Sets like the Police Station offer a more comprehensive play experience, but this set is a good option for those with limited space or budget. It's more focused on the vehicle aspect of a chase, making it a good complement to other police-themed sets.
