The 585-1 Police Headquarters set holds significant investment potential due to its age, rarity, and the enduring popularity of the LEGO Police theme. As a set from 1976, finding complete and well-preserved copies is increasingly difficult, driving up its value among collectors. The rising price trend indicates strong demand, and the set's historical significance as an early example of the LEGO Police theme further enhances its appeal. However, potential investors should be aware of the risks associated with older sets, such as yellowing of white bricks and potential for missing or damaged parts. Authenticity and condition are paramount when considering this set as an investment.
