Before you buy
LEGO YouTubers generally view the Forest Hideout (40567) positively, especially as a gift-with-purchase set, with some wondering when it will be available for direct purchase. Several reviewers, like R.R. Slugger and The Cool Factor, note it as a modern recreation or remake of the classic Forestmen's Hideout (6054).
Cheesey Studios adores the set, while Tie The Lego Guy questions if it's the best promo of all time. Woad Bricks explores whether the remake is worth it, comparing it to the original 80s version.
