📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Treasure Attack is a charming introductory set to the LEGO Castle theme for younger builders. It provides a simple and engaging play experience with its bright colors, easy-to-handle Duplo bricks, and classic castle elements like a knight and treasure.

This set is perfect for toddlers and preschoolers who are just starting their LEGO journey. The large Duplo bricks are easy for small hands to manipulate, and the straightforward build encourages creativity and problem-solving skills.

Skip this if you are an adult collector or experienced LEGO builder seeking a complex and detailed model. This set is designed for very young children and lacks the sophistication and challenge of more advanced LEGO sets; consider LEGO Castle sets intended for older children instead.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

As a Duplo set aimed at very young children, Treasure Attack is unlikely to become a significant investment piece. Its value lies primarily in its playability for toddlers and its potential as a nostalgia item for collectors of vintage Duplo sets. While the price has risen since retirement, the appreciation is moderate and not indicative of high investment potential. The relatively low piece count and common Duplo elements also limit its appeal to serious LEGO investors.

Compared to other LEGO Castle sets, Treasure Attack is designed for a much younger audience. While sets like the LEGO Castle 70404-1 King's Castle are more detailed and challenging builds for older children, Treasure Attack offers a simpler and more accessible introduction to the theme for toddlers. It's a good starting point before moving on to more complex LEGO sets.
