📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

The Supplemental Pack for Shuttle Adventure Set 10213 is a fascinating piece of LEGO customer service history. Created specifically to reinforce the notoriously fragile fuel tank and booster connections of the original 10213 Shuttle Adventure, this 29-piece fix packet addressed structural flaws before LEGO redesigned the whole model into 10231 Shuttle Expedition.

This set is perfect for hardcore LEGO space historians and completists who own the original 10213 build. Applying these parts provides the official LEGO-engineered reinforcement to make the iconic space shuttle display far sturdier and easier to handle.

Skip this if you are looking for a standalone building experience or already own the updated 10231 Shuttle Expedition. With just 29 utility pieces in a polybag, it serves little purpose outside of correcting that specific 2010 set.

As a free service replacement pack issued in 2010, 10213sup-1 holds a unique niche in the secondary market. It was never sold at standard retail and was distributed directly through LEGO Customer Service to owners complaining about the fragility of 10213 Shuttle Adventure. While the individual parts are standard elements easily sourced via BrickLink, sealed original polybags hold novelty collector value for space enthusiasts and completionists. However, financial upside is capped because the demand pool is limited strictly to owners of 10213 who insist on having the authentic original pack rather than just parting it out.
