LEGO Forums and Communities: Where Fans Talk Online

LEGO fans talk in a handful of places, and each is good for something different: Eurobricks for long discussion and contests, Reddit for quick questions, LEGO Ideas and the LEGO Ambassador Network for LEGO's own programmes, and Flickr, Instagram and Discord for sharing builds and running contests. This guide lists the ones we could see active in October 2026 and what to use each for.

Forums and discussion

• Eurobricks: the long-running fan forum, organised by theme, with sections for fan creations and for events and user groups. It runs yearly contests, such as a May the 4th contest from May 1 to July 1, 2026 and the medieval Summer Joust each summer.
• Reddit: the LEGO communities on Reddit, such as r/lego and theme communities for Star Wars and Technic, are the busiest place for quick questions, haul photos and reactions to new sets.
• Discord: many fan groups and contests run community chat servers; in October 2026, the BrickCentral contest ran on Threads and Discord.

LEGO's own programmes

• LEGO Ideas: where fans submit set ideas, support other fans' projects and enter themed challenges with set prizes. A project that reaches 10,000 supporters goes to LEGO for review.
• LEGO Ambassador Network: LEGO's programme for working with fan communities. Joining is free, and its directory and community calendar list recognized user groups and their events. Our guide to finding and joining a LEGO user group explains how it works.

Photos and contests

• Flickr: still home to themed LEGO photography groups and contests; Nerdvember 2026 runs on Flickr or Instagram from November 1.
• Instagram and Threads: the main place for LEGO photography today, with contests such as MOCtober (closing October 31, 2026) and Halloween Habitats.

A note on etiquette

Every community has its own rules. Read them before posting, search before asking a common question, credit other builders when you share their work, and never post another builder's photos as your own. LEGO's fair play policy also asks fan sites not to use the LEGO logo.
