The 9977-1 Home set, being a vintage Duplo set from 1992, holds some appeal for collectors of classic LEGO. Its investment potential lies in its age, relatively low piece count, and the completeness of the set. Duplo sets generally don't appreciate as much as standard LEGO sets, but well-preserved copies with original packaging can attract a premium. The theme's continued popularity supports its potential for modest appreciation over time.
