📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

The Malevolence is a visually striking rendition of the Separatist warship. Its imposing design and impressive size capture the essence of the vehicle from the Clone Wars animated series, making it a standout display piece.

This set is perfect for Star Wars enthusiasts and collectors seeking a unique vessel. The building experience is moderately challenging, and the included minifigures enhance its playability and display value.

Skip this if you prefer smaller, more affordable sets or prioritize play features over display accuracy. Consider smaller Star Wars vehicle sets or battle packs if you're on a budget or want something easier to handle.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

The Malevolence (9515-1) presents a moderate investment opportunity. As a retired Star Wars set from the Clone Wars era, it benefits from the theme's enduring popularity. Its large piece count and exclusive minifigures, like Padme Amidala and General Grievous, enhance its collectibility. However, its initial high price point might limit potential growth compared to smaller, more accessible sets. Monitoring aftermarket trends and condition is crucial for maximizing returns.
