📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

The ETX Alien Mothership Assault is a classic Mars Mission set. Released in 2007, it perfectly captures the sci-fi aesthetic of the theme, pitting brave astronauts against glow-in-the-dark Martian invaders in a battle for energy crystals.

This set is perfect for LEGO space fans and collectors of classic themes. The 434 pieces provide a fun and engaging building experience, while the unique minifigures and play features make it a great addition to any collection.

Skip this if you prefer more modern building techniques or licensed themes. The Mars Mission line has a distinct, older style that may not appeal to everyone; consider newer space-themed sets like the City Space or Creator lines instead.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

The ETX Alien Mothership Assault (7691-1) has moderate investment potential. As a retired set from a classic LEGO theme (Mars Mission), it appeals to nostalgic collectors. The set includes a good number of pieces (434) and unique minifigures, which can drive up its value over time. However, its relatively common availability might limit significant price appreciation. Keeping the set in excellent condition with the box can enhance its investment value. Consider its long-term collectibility within the broader LEGO space theme market.
