📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Shuri's Sunbird is an underrated gem in the LEGO Marvel lineup. This set captures the sleek design of the Wakandan aircraft with surprising accuracy for its size and piece count, featuring vibrant trans-purple elements and a unique overall aesthetic that stands out from other superhero vehicles.

This set is perfect for younger builders and Marvel fans looking for an engaging build and fun play experience. The build is straightforward but satisfying, offering a good balance between complexity and ease of assembly. The inclusion of four minifigures adds significant play value.

Skip this if you're seeking a highly challenging build or a massive display piece. Those looking for more complex Wakanda-themed builds might consider the Black Panther Mech Armor (76204) for a different building experience.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

Shuri's Sunbird presents a moderate investment opportunity. As a retired set from the popular Marvel Super Heroes theme, it benefits from the enduring appeal of the Black Panther franchise. The minifigures, particularly Ironheart MK1, add to the set's collectibility. However, its relatively low piece count and original MSRP may limit significant appreciation. Monitor secondary market trends closely for optimal timing.

Compared to other LEGO Marvel vehicles in a similar price range, Shuri's Sunbird offers a unique aesthetic and a distinct Wakandan design. While sets like Spider-Man's Car (76147) might offer more familiar superhero tropes, Shuri's Sunbird stands out for its originality and connection to the Black Panther universe.

4 Minifigures Included

Shuri - Black Panther Suit, Hair

The inclusion of Ironheart MK1 makes this set desirable to minifigure collectors, as it is one of the few sets to feature this character. Shuri and Nakia add to the Wakandan representation, while Attuma provides a villainous presence.
