📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Avengers: Endgame Thor vs. Chitauri is a surprisingly fun and action-packed set! Based on the epic battle from Avengers: Endgame, it offers a great blend of buildable figures and iconic characters.

This set is perfect for younger Marvel fans and those looking for a quick, engaging build. The large, posable figures offer plenty of play potential, and the minifigure selection is excellent.

Skip this if you're seeking a highly detailed display piece or complex building experience. Consider larger, more intricate Avengers sets like the Avengers Tower for a more challenging build.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retiring soon

This set presents a moderate investment opportunity. Its appeal lies in the popular Marvel theme, specifically the Avengers: Endgame movie. The presence of multiple minifigures, including Thor and Rocket Raccoon, adds to its collectibility. However, the relatively low piece count and current price trend suggest that significant appreciation may take time. Keeping the set sealed and in mint condition is crucial for maximizing potential returns. While not a guaranteed high-return investment, the enduring popularity of the Marvel Cinematic Universe should help it retain value and potentially appreciate modestly over the long term.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

This set is a smaller, more affordable alternative to larger Avengers-themed sets. While it doesn't offer the same level of detail as sets like the Avengers Tower, it provides a fun, accessible entry point into the world of LEGO Marvel. It offers a good balance of buildable figures and minifigures at a more reasonable price point than some of the larger sets.
