📝 Our Take

General Grievous is a surprisingly detailed buildable figure. Capturing the menacing look of the Separatist general, it offers a unique building experience within the Star Wars constraction figure line.

This set is perfect for Star Wars fans and collectors of buildable figures. With posable limbs and signature lightsabers, it makes a great display piece.

Skip this if you prefer traditional LEGO system sets or minifigure-scale builds. Consider other Star Wars sets like the battle packs or smaller vehicle sets for a different building experience.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

General Grievous (75112) presents an interesting investment opportunity, primarily driven by the Star Wars theme's enduring popularity and the set's retirement. While the piece count is relatively low, the unique buildable figure design and the character's significance in the Star Wars saga contribute to its desirability among collectors. The rising price trend indicates growing demand. However, the constraction figure line isn't as universally loved as minifigure-scale sets, which could limit its long-term appreciation potential. Investors should consider the risk of future remakes or similar figures impacting the set's exclusivity.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Compared to other Star Wars sets in a similar price range, General Grievous offers a different building experience with its constraction figure design. While smaller, minifigure-scale sets may offer more playability, General Grievous stands out as a unique display piece. Collectors interested in posable figures might prefer this, while those seeking minifigures and vehicle builds might opt for a different set. Its appeal lies in its distinctive construction and character representation.
