⏳ Retired

The SURGE & ROCKA Combat Machine, being a retired set from the Hero Factory theme, has seen a significant price increase over its original MSRP. The set's relative rarity, combined with the nostalgia factor associated with the Hero Factory line, contributes to its potential as an investment. However, the theme's niche appeal means that its value may not appreciate as much as sets from more popular themes like Star Wars or modular buildings. Collectors interested in securing a piece of Hero Factory history might find this set a worthwhile addition to their portfolio, but caution is advised due to the higher entry price.

Compared to other Hero Factory sets, the SURGE & ROCKA Combat Machine stands out due to its combination of two heroes into a single mech. While other sets focus on individual characters or smaller vehicles, this set offers a more substantial and unique building experience. Collectors might also consider other Hero Factory sets from the same year for consistency in their collection. However, for those seeking more complex builds, Technic sets may be a better alternative.
