Diddy Kong's Mine Cart Ride Expansion Set has moderate investment potential. As part of the popular LEGO Super Mario theme, it benefits from the broad appeal of the video game franchise. The set's piece count is reasonable for its price point, and it includes unique elements and characters that could become desirable over time. However, as an expansion set, its value is somewhat tied to the overall success of the LEGO Super Mario line. While it might not become a highly sought-after collectible, it's likely to hold its value and potentially appreciate modestly, especially if the Donkey Kong Country subtheme proves popular.
