Freezie

As part of the retired LEGO Super Mario Character Packs (Series 4), 71402-1 Freezie holds a steady niche appeal among completists of the theme. While it started as an impulse-buy blind bag retailing for under $5, its retired status and specific character identity mean prices have naturally crept up into the $8-$10 range. From an investment perspective, blind-bag characters rarely experience explosive growth unless they feature extremely iconic, highly sought-after characters. However, because Series 4 is now long gone from store shelves, sealed units hold steady value. Investors won't see massive returns here, but it's a low-risk, easy-to-store collectible for niche Super Mario enthusiasts. The real long-term value lies in sealed series collections rather than individual commons like the Freezie, though brick-link part-out sellers might eye the unique bright light blue and azure elements.
