📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

The Lion Legend Beast is a charming little set from the Legends of Chima theme. It perfectly captures the essence of the CHI-powered world with its vibrant colors and unique design, making it a standout among the smaller sets in the line.

This set is perfect for younger builders and fans of the Legends of Chima series. Its relatively low piece count makes it a quick and satisfying build, and the inclusion of the Laval minifigure adds play value.

Skip this if you're looking for a more challenging build or a larger display piece. Consider the larger Chima sets like the Lion Chi Temple (70010-1) for a more immersive experience.

⏳ Retired

The Lion Legend Beast, being a retired set from the Legends of Chima theme, has seen a steady increase in value. Its initial low MSRP makes it an accessible entry point for collectors. While not the most sought-after set, its rarity and the increasing nostalgia for the Chima theme contribute to its investment potential. However, its small size and relatively common minifigure limit its potential for significant appreciation compared to larger, more exclusive sets.
