The Exxon Fuel Tanker, being a vintage set from 1984, holds some appeal for collectors, particularly those focused on Classic Town. Its value is tied to its condition and the presence of the original box and instructions. While not a high-value investment compared to licensed themes, its rarity and nostalgia factor contribute to its potential for appreciation, especially if well-preserved. However, the relatively low piece count and common theme limit its potential for significant gains. It is important to consider the risk of damage or missing pieces, which can significantly impact its value.
