5th Anniversary The LEGO Store (Hangzhou)

Store opening and anniversary promotional sets historically perform exceptionally well on the secondary market due to extremely limited distribution. Distributed exclusively at the Hangzhou LEGO Brand Store during its 5th anniversary celebration, this set was never sold through general retail channels, creating immediate scarcity outside of mainland China. While the low piece count limits appeal to standard builders, dedicated minifigure collectors and LEGO brand memorabilia enthusiasts drive strong aftermarket premiums for authentic regional store exclusives. Long-term appreciation will depend largely on overall collector interest in regional brand store memorabilia, but the strict geographic limitation offers solid downside protection.
