📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

85 Sky Tower is a surprisingly detailed microscale build. For a set with a modest piece count, it manages to capture the essence of a modern skyscraper with sleek lines and a futuristic aesthetic.

This set is perfect for LEGO architecture enthusiasts and city builders looking for a small-scale project. The build is quick and satisfying, making it an ideal desk display or addition to a larger city layout.

Skip this if you prefer minifigure-scale builds or complex building techniques. This set focuses on aesthetics over playability and offers a relatively simple building experience. Consider sets like 21044-1 Paris Skyline for a similar theme but larger scale.

⏳ Retired

The 85 Sky Tower, being a retired set with a relatively low piece count, presents a modest investment opportunity. Its appeal lies in its architectural design and the potential for integration into larger LEGO city layouts. While it may not experience exponential growth, its retirement status and the enduring popularity of city-themed sets suggest a gradual appreciation in value over time. However, the large number of these sets produced could limit significant gains.
