📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

The Combo Race Pack is a surprisingly fun and versatile little set. Featuring three distinct vehicles – a sports car, SUV, and speedboat – all in one box, it offers a great introduction to the LEGO City world and the thrill of racing.

This set is perfect for younger LEGO fans and those looking for a quick, engaging build. The interchangeable modules add a layer of customization and playability, encouraging kids to get creative and design their own unique vehicles. It's also a great set for adding some variety to your LEGO City layout.

Skip this if you're a seasoned builder looking for a complex and challenging project. While the set offers good value for its price, more experienced builders might find the building techniques too simplistic. Consider sets like the Speed Champions series for a more intricate vehicle building experience.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

The Combo Race Pack presents a mixed investment outlook. Its relatively low piece count and mass-market appeal might limit significant appreciation. However, its retirement could lead to a modest increase in value, especially if the LEGO 2KDRIVE video game maintains popularity. The set's affordable price point makes it a low-risk investment for those interested in holding onto it long-term. The rising price trend indicates growing interest. Keep in mind that similar City-themed sets tend to have moderate appreciation over time.

⚖ Compare Similar Sets

Compared to other LEGO City vehicle sets, the Combo Race Pack offers a unique variety of vehicles in a single package. While sets like the individual LEGO City sports cars or trucks might offer more detail in a single vehicle, this set provides a broader range of play options. If you're looking for a more realistic and detailed vehicle, consider the Speed Champions series. However, for younger builders or those seeking versatility, the Combo Race Pack is a great choice.
