⏳ Retired

As a retired LEGO City Arctic sub-theme set, 60378-1 occupies a unique niche in the secondary market. City Arctic sets historically enjoy steady, niche demand among parents and collectors who appreciate the inclusion of unique wildlife figures like the three polar bears featured here. With a solid 489 pieces and a generous four-minifigure lineup, the set offers strong nostalgic and play appeal that will slowly appreciate over time. While it may not experience the explosive short-term growth of licensed Star Wars or modular building sets, retired Arctic sets generally perform well above average for standard LEGO City offerings. The soft plastic wide treads and unique orange-and-white color scheme also provide decent parts value for custom MOC builders, giving it a healthy floor in the aftermarket.

Compared to smaller LEGO City Arctic sets, 60378-1 offers a much more complete play scenario by combining both a heavy-duty transport vehicle and a mobile lab in one box. While it carries a higher price tag than basic snowmobiles or single-vehicle packs, the inclusion of multiple polar bears and a robust tracked chassis makes it a superior centerpiece for an arctic layout.
