⏳ Retired

The XXL Box, while not a traditional investment piece, holds value as a nostalgic item and a gateway to LEGO for young children. Its value primarily lies in its completeness and good condition. As a retired set, its price is steadily increasing, but the appreciation rate might not be as high as more complex or licensed sets. However, the consistent demand for Duplo sets makes it a reasonable, low-risk addition to a collection, especially if acquired at or near its original MSRP.

The XXL Box is a basic Duplo set, competing with other starter sets like the 10848-1 Building Blocks. The XXL Box offers a larger quantity of bricks, making it a better choice for those who want more building possibilities right from the start.
