📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

The Joker is a unique and somewhat quirky buildable figure from the LEGO Batman theme. Released in 2012, this set offers a different take on the iconic villain, focusing on posability and action features rather than traditional minifigure scale.

This set is perfect for LEGO Batman fans and those who enjoy buildable figures. It's a relatively quick build that results in a fun, posable display piece, making it a good option for younger builders or those looking for a less time-intensive project.

Skip this if you prefer minifigure-scale sets or are looking for a highly detailed display model. This set prioritizes playability and a stylized design over intricate realism; consider the Joker Manor (70922-1) for a more traditional Joker experience.

⏳ Retired

The Joker (4527-1) has shown steady appreciation since its retirement, driven by the enduring popularity of the Batman theme and the character himself. While the piece count is low, the set's unique design and limited availability contribute to its investment potential. However, the relatively low original MSRP and the abundance of Batman-themed sets might limit significant future gains. Keeping the set sealed will maximize its value.

Compared to other LEGO Batman sets, The Joker stands out as a buildable figure rather than a minifigure-scale model. Sets like the Batmobile (76181-1) offer a more traditional LEGO building experience, while the Joker Manor (70922-1) provides a larger, more detailed playset. The Joker is a good choice for those seeking a unique, posable display piece at a lower price point.
