⏳ Retired

The 60 Years of the LEGO Brick set (40290-1) holds moderate investment potential due to its status as a promotional, limited-edition set. Its retirement increases its desirability among collectors, particularly those seeking commemorative LEGO items. The rising price trend suggests growing demand. While not a guaranteed high-return investment, its unique nature and connection to LEGO's history make it a reasonable addition to a LEGO investment portfolio. However, its smaller size and piece count may limit significant appreciation compared to larger, more complex sets.

This set is unique as a commemorative item. Unlike regular sets, its primary appeal lies in its nostalgic value and representation of LEGO's history. While sets like 10305-1 Lion Knights' Castle offer more complex builds and larger displays, 40290-1 appeals to collectors seeking a piece of LEGO history in a compact form.
