⏳ Retired

The LEGO 40101 Monkey is a retired set, which can add to its collectibility. While it's a small set with a low piece count, its status as a monthly mini model build makes it somewhat unique. Its investment potential is moderate, primarily appealing to collectors interested in completing their series of monthly mini model builds. Given its low price point when available, significant appreciation is unlikely, but it could hold its value or see a slight increase over time.

Compared to other small LEGO animal builds, the 40101 Monkey is simpler in design and construction. Sets like LEGO Creator animals offer more complex building techniques and alternate builds. However, the Monkey's charm lies in its simplicity and collectibility as part of the monthly mini model series.
