📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

The Werewolf is a charming and spooky entry in the Monster Fighters theme. Released in 2012, it features a classic monster encounter with a fun hot rod for the hero and a cleverly designed ambush setting for the Werewolf.

This set is perfect for fans of classic monsters and those who enjoy a smaller, character-driven build. The build is relatively quick and straightforward, making it suitable for younger builders or those looking for a relaxing build session. Its display potential is also high due to the dynamic posing of the minifigures and the spooky tree.

Skip this if you are looking for a complex building experience or a large, imposing model. While charming, the set is relatively small. Consider sets like 9466-1 The Crazy Scientist & His Monster for a larger Monster Fighters experience.

⏳ Retired

The Werewolf set from the Monster Fighters theme has shown consistent appreciation in value since its retirement. The theme's popularity, combined with the set's manageable size and appealing minifigures, makes it a solid investment. While not as high-profile as some larger sets, its relatively low original MSRP and steady price growth suggest continued appreciation. The presence of exclusive minifigures further enhances its investment potential. However, fluctuations in the LEGO market and potential re-releases could pose risks.
