The Police Boat is a neat little set that packs a lot of play value into a small package. Released in 2012 as a polybag, it offers a quick and satisfying build, resulting in a sturdy and swooshable watercraft ready to patrol the LEGO seas.

This set is perfect for younger LEGO enthusiasts or anyone looking for a small, affordable addition to their collection. With only 35 pieces, it's a great introduction to LEGO building, and the inclusion of a minifigure adds to the play possibilities.

Skip this if you're looking for a complex building experience or a large display piece. This is a small set focused on play, so consider larger LEGO City police sets for more involved builds and detailed models.

Investment Grade

⏳ Retired

As a small, retired polybag set, the Police Boat (30017-1) presents a modest investment opportunity. Its low piece count and original retail price make it accessible to collectors, and the rising price trend suggests increasing demand. However, its value is unlikely to skyrocket due to its limited size and common theme. The presence of a minifigure enhances its collectibility slightly. Keep in mind that polybags are often subject to condition issues due to their packaging.
