📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Imperial Speeder Bike is a fantastic little blast from the past that packs surprising detail into a tiny package. Originally released in 2009 as a classic impulse-buy foil pack, this 33-piece build captures the iconic look of the Endor patrol vehicle far better than its miniature piece count should allow.

This set is perfect for Star Wars army builders and nostalgic collectors looking for a quick, cheap fix. It takes all of five minutes to put together, but having a classic Stormtrooper paired with his ride makes it a delightful pocket-sized display piece for a desk or bookshelf.

Skip this if you are hunting for a complex, modern building experience or deeply discounted current retail stock. Since it is long retired, secondary market prices have climbed well past its original $3.99 MSRP, though it remains a fun nostalgia grab for dedicated troopers.

⏳ Retired

As a retired 2009 impulse buy with a sealed foil pack collector following, the Imperial Speeder Bike has quietly appreciated well beyond its humble $3.99 origins. Star Wars army-building sets, particularly those featuring classic original trilogy Stormtroopers, almost always retain a baseline level of nostalgic demand from collectors. While it is unlikely to fund your retirement, sealed examples hold steady interest due to the vintage Star Wars branding and the evergreen popularity of Endor speeders. Investors should look for pristine, unpunched foil packs where the inner contents are guaranteed mint, though the high percentage of opened samples on the market means condition is everything.
