📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

75531 Stormtrooper Commander is a unique entry in the Star Wars buildable figure collection. Released in 2017, this 100-piece set gave fans a specialized imperial officer variant with distinct armaments and markings not seen in the standard trooper sets.

This set is perfect for completionists of the Star Wars buildable figure theme and younger builders. The quick construction and playable spring-loaded shooter make it a fun desk toy, while the pauldron and ammo pouches add tactical flair to display shelves.

Skip this if you prefer traditional minifigure-scale LEGO or dislike the skeletal constraction system. Since the theme has been retired, you'll need to look to the secondary market where prices can vary for this specific commander variant.

⏳ Retired

As a retired Star Wars set with a unique character variant, the Stormtrooper Commander holds a modest niche in the secondary market. Constraction figures generally have a dedicated cult following rather than universal appeal, meaning appreciation tends to be steady rather than explosive. At an original MSRP of $24.99 for 100 pieces, the price-per-piece ratio was always on the higher side due to the large specialized character molds. However, army builders looking for unique imperial officers often seek these out, giving it decent long-term liquidity among Star Wars completionists.
