As a basic DUPLO set from 1997, Extra Bricks (S) 2242-1 has limited investment potential. Its low piece count and common brick selection don't make it particularly rare or sought after by collectors. However, complete and well-preserved sets might hold some nostalgic value for those who remember them from their childhood. The set's value will largely depend on its condition and the completeness of the original packaging. Given its age, finding a set in pristine condition could be challenging.
