📝 Our Take

AI-assisted editorial summary, grounded in our LEGO database and public community discussions. How we use AI

Vestas Wind Turbine is a landmark release that bridges the gap between mechanical engineering and environmental consciousness. Developed in partnership with Vestas, this towering model captures the elegance of modern green energy and holds a special place in LEGO history as the debut vehicle for the plant-based polyethylene sustainable spruce tree element.

This set is perfect for environmental enthusiasts, engineering fans, and adult collectors looking for a unique display piece. Standing nearly a meter tall, it commands attention and features motorized Power Functions capability to rotate the blades and illuminate the cabin's porch light.

Skip this if you are seeking a fast-paced, action-oriented building experience or have strict vertical clearance limits. The construction involves some repetitive steps when assembling the towering pylon and the massive blades, and its one-meter height requires careful display planning.

⏳ Retired

As a retired Creator Expert set with a unique green energy theme and official corporate partnership (Vestas), 10268 has enjoyed steady collector demand since leaving shelves. The inclusion of motorized Power Functions components and its iconic status as the introduction vehicle for sustainable plant-based elements make it a coveted piece for completionists. While the piece count of 834 is modest for its physical height, the functional mechanics and specialized parts profile ensure strong secondary market appreciation. Investors should note that shipping a one-meter-tall assembled model requires careful consideration, but sealed boxes continue to command healthy premiums among sustainability-focused collectors.
