Star Wars
Anakin Skywalker is a central character in the Star Wars saga, a powerful Jedi Knight who tragically falls to the dark side and becomes Darth Vader.
Minifigure details
The Anakin Skywalker Transformation minifigure is highly sought after by collectors due to its unique design representing a pivotal moment in the Star Wars saga. The contrast between Anakin's human side and the emerging Darth Vader is captured with the dual-sided head and contrasting hand colors.
Its limited availability, appearing in only two sets, further enhances its collectibility. The Toy Fair exclusive version is especially rare, making any version of this minifigure a prized possession for Star Wars and LEGO enthusiasts alike. Condition is key for value, with mint condition figures commanding a premium.
This minifigure is considered rare due to its limited release in only two sets, one of which was a Toy Fair exclusive. The Darth Vader Transformation set (7251-1) had a wider release, but still a limited production run in 2005. The Toy Fair 2005 Star Wars V.I.P. Gala (TOYFAIR2005-2) set was extremely limited, making that version of the minifigure exceptionally rare.
Finding this minifigure on the aftermarket can be challenging, and prices reflect its scarcity. Be cautious of counterfeit or damaged figures, as these will significantly impact value.
