Before you buy
LEGO YouTube reviews of the Darth Vader Transformation sets (7251 and 75183) are largely neutral, focusing on set features and comparisons. MandRproductions provides reviews for both the 2005 and 2017 versions, while other reviewers like Jeremy Herbert and Tie The Lego Guy offer unboxings, speed builds, and comparisons.
MandRproductions highlights the rarity of cheap LEGO Star Wars playsets like the original 7251 today. Tie The Lego Guy compares the 2005 and 2017 versions, though admits the comparison is 'loose,' while JANG's LEGO Reviews offers an independent, unsponsored review of the 2017 set.
