Fireman, Classic, Black Fire Jacket with Red Belt and Buttons, White Helmet (3626b Head)

The Classic Fireman minifigure is a nostalgic piece for LEGO collectors, representing a simpler era of LEGO City. Its classic design, featuring the black fire jacket with red details and the iconic white helmet, evokes a sense of childhood memories for many LEGO enthusiasts who grew up with early 1990s sets. The standard yellow minifig head with a grin adds to its vintage charm.

This minifigure is especially appealing to collectors focused on vintage LEGO City themes or those seeking to complete their collection of classic emergency service minifigures. The condition of the white helmet is a key consideration for collectors, as white LEGO elements from this period are prone to yellowing over time. A Fireman in pristine condition commands a higher premium.

The Fireman minifigure appeared exclusively in the Rescue Runabout set (6511-1) released in 1992. While not an extremely limited release, the single set appearance contributes to its relative scarcity on the aftermarket compared to minifigures appearing in multiple sets. Given the age of the set and the potential for wear and tear on the minifigure over the years, finding one in excellent condition can be challenging.
