Buying tips
Compare Price Rank and Value Rank
Examining both price rank and value rank in our catalog reveals which sets offer the most building material for your budget. While larger models sit at higher price ranks, options like Liann's Family House 42687 achieve value rank 1 by providing the most pieces for the money, making piece volume an important factor alongside total cost.
Consider the Architectural Style
LEGO Friends encompasses a wide spectrum of building styles, ranging from rustic wilderness retreats to modern city residences and whimsical retail venues. When selecting a set, decide whether you want an earthy structure that fits natural landscapes or a brightly colored townhouse that blends into an urban streetscape. Checking the structural layout ensures it matches your preferred display theme.
Check Minifigure and Accessory Counts
Roleplay value in the Friends theme depends heavily on included mini-doll figures, animal sidekicks, and themed props. Many sets provide multiple core characters and distinct pets like dogs, cats, or frogs straight out of the box. Reviewing the character roster helps ensure the set contains the specific figures and accessories needed to spark imaginative storytelling.
Watch for Retiring Sets
Sets marked as leaving soon in our catalog will eventually clear out from retailers to make room for newer releases. If a specific building, vehicle, or character lineup catches your eye, prioritizing those departing models prevents missing out on distinct color schemes and specialized pieces that may not reappear in future production waves.
