Pet Accessories Van is a charming and delightful addition to the LEGO Friends universe. With a clever pug-shaped vehicle design, vibrant colors, and wonderful play accessories, this set captures the playful spirit of the theme.

This set is perfect for younger animal lovers and builders who enjoy whimsical vehicle designs. At 237 pieces, it offers a quick, satisfying construction experience that transitions instantly into open-ended roleplay with the included mini-dolls and pets.

⏳ Retiring soon

As a sub-$20 LEGO Friends set, the Pet Accessories Van (42678-1) is primarily designed for play and immediate gifting rather than long-term speculative investing. Small Friends vehicle sets tend to have high production runs and wide retail availability, which generally limits massive secondary market appreciation after retirement. However, the unique pug-shaped vehicle design and desirable animal figures could give it a slight edge over standard cars once it retires. While it won't yield massive investment returns, low-priced themed sets with cute animals historically maintain a steady baseline of demand among parents and young collectors looking for missed retail releases.

Compared to other small LEGO Friends vehicle sets in the $20 price range, the Pet Accessories Van stands out thanks to its distinct animal-themed styling. While standard cars offer basic transit play, this set leans heavily into character-driven roleplay with its fashion show stage and multiple animal figures.
