This promotional set, given its limited availability and specific event tie-in, holds reasonable investment potential. Its rarity is its greatest asset, as it appeals to collectors of LEGO memorabilia. While the piece count is low, the exclusivity factor can drive up its value over time. However, the investment is tied to maintaining the set's condition and original packaging, which can be a risk. Compared to larger sets, the return on investment may be modest, but its uniqueness makes it a worthwhile addition for serious collectors.

Compared to standard LEGO Store sets, this promotional item is smaller and more focused on commemorating a specific event. While sets like the LEGO Brand Retail Store (40305-1) offer a more detailed and expansive build, this Oklahoma City exclusive provides a unique piece of LEGO history. Collectors may choose this set for its rarity and connection to a particular time and place, rather than its building complexity or play features.
