The LEGO Graduate set, being a small promotional item from the Monthly Mini Model Build series, has a niche appeal to collectors of such items. Its low piece count and simple design mean it won't command high prices, but its rarity and the fact that it was only available for a limited time could make it a decent investment, especially if kept in pristine condition. The value will likely increase slowly over time, driven by nostalgia and the desire of collectors to complete their Monthly Mini Model Build collections. However, the small size and relatively common pieces limit its potential for significant appreciation.

As a small promotional set, the LEGO Graduate doesn't directly compare to larger retail sets. However, similar small-scale sets like LEGO polybags or promotional builds offer a similar building experience and collectibility. This set is a good choice for those who enjoy collecting these smaller, more unique LEGO items. The limited availability of this set makes it more appealing to collectors compared to widely available polybags.
