Before you buy
Spider-Man in Black Venom Symbiote Costume is one of the rarest and most elusive promotional minifigures ever released. Handed out in extremely limited quantities at a major convention, this piece of Spider-Man history is the ultimate holy grail for serious superhero collectors.
This set is perfect for hardcore Marvel minifigure completionists with deep pockets. While it contains just a few pieces to display the figure, the sheer scarcity and iconic nature of the black symbiote suit make it a museum-tier display piece rather than a traditional building set.
Skip this if you are a casual fan or prefer actual building experiences over rare plastic. At its current high-hundreds or thousand-dollar price point, you could buy dozens of standard sets or massive UCS builds instead.
