Deep Sea Diver

As a small retired City promotional set with a very low entry price, Deep Sea Diver sits in an interesting niche for secondary market collectors. While polybag and impulse-priced sets rarely skyrocket into hundreds of dollars, sealed copies do tend to appreciate steadily due to the universal appeal of deep-sea diving themes and the included pearl titanium gear. Because the piece count is minimal at 27 pieces, storage space required for holding multiple units is practically zero, making it an easy speculative hold if acquired very cheaply. However, potential investors should temper expectations; the absolute dollar gains will remain modest compared to large-scale modulars or licensed flagship sets, acting more as a fun novelty addition to a diversified portfolio.
