The Supplementary Set, being a vintage parts pack, holds some investment potential, especially for collectors of classic LEGO Technic. Its value is derived from the availability of specific, older Technic elements that may be harder to find in newer sets. While the piece count is low, the rising price trend indicates growing collector interest. However, its investment potential is limited by its nature as a parts pack rather than a complete model. The set's value will likely continue to appreciate slowly, driven by nostalgia and the demand for vintage Technic parts.
